CC Blooms

CC Blooms seems to have had a bad rep in the past but ive never had any trouble! i regularly visit the club and always have a good night!
The bar staff are friendly and helpful,and more than happy to give u a bit of conversation if its quiet,making u feel very welcome!
the door staff have recently changed and my god what a difference! the new company are efficient and helpful and very professional in their job. I dont envy them at all - they refuse someone for being totally wasted(doing their job!!) and then get totally slated for it! word of advice to all the moaners - if u dont want to be refused, dont turn up totally wasted!! Simples!!!!
The music is awesome! thats all i need to say! lol
Also at the moment its going through a massive refurbishment (which it defo needed) cant wait to see it when the upstairs bar opens again! glad they kept the downstairs bar open though,id be lost without CC's for so long! lol

Id say to anyone thinking of giving CC Blooms a visit - go for it! dont listen to the nasty & dated comments above, go for yourself and have a great night!

My enjoyable evening with my friends came to an abrupt end last night after being forcibly ejected from CC Blooms. I had previously been to a restaurant and had a few glasses of wine, we then proceeded to said nightclub complete with a 3am licence (what do they think a person will be doing at this time of the morning if they're not drinking somewhat dumbfounds me!) My main objection is, amongst others, is that the door-person, without explanation, ushered me towards the door. As I stopped to ask for an explanation my arm was placed behind my back and I was hastily directed to the pavement, still no explanation was given. I admit that I was a little drunk, one would be after drinking! The very least I, or anyone else, should expect is an explanation as to why a door-person feels it necessary to expel a customer. Understandably I will, and I hope others do after reading this comment, refrain from spending my money in this establishment in the future. Manners go a long way in the prevention of irritation, I suggest that the Management of CC Blooms considers the option of personality testing before employing such troglodytes.

'Bad' sums this place up very well and NOT 'Bad' as in 'Good' either!
Bad Venue- poorly laid out and stuck in an 80's time warp. Toilets provide the atmosphere and bounced fake bank notes provide the decor, just as a reminder that the people who go there are likely to be the kind who have fake money! (Surprising that they should have had so much passed to them, with so much neon they should be able to spot a fake a mile off!)
Bad Staff- All the grace and manners of prison warders in a third world country. If you get past the bouncers don't expect things to get better once you are in- they really are ALL that surly!
Bad Music- Early Kylie-tastic!
Bad Attitude- Once you get past the bouncers, get ripped off by the coat check, queue for ages at the bar, get over charged and short changed while buying the watered down drinks, wade ankle deep in goodness knows what to go to the toilet, get bounced around by the never ending tide of passing 'revellers' and shout yourself hoarse over the top of I Should Be So Lucky you will inevitably find yourself being thrown out for having 'one too many' and daring to actually enjoy yourself! And the manager’s response will be- tough! They've had your money now p* off!
Bad Idea- No matter how drunk you get it is NEVER worth going here! Don't do it!
