still love sammy,s as one of the best gigs in glasgow although that would,nt be hard these day,s saw a band called the outpatients a couple of times thought they were greattttttt they had the place jumping but some of the bands i,ve seen kinda had me cringing ....any comments?

Hiya. was at sammies on saturday night it was like the old times the place was jumping good to see everyone again.Itchyoo Park was was fab. keep it up Ronnie, Jim, John, & Les. next sat. is Kong so if your looking for a good night get ur. Bum's down their. our u. will miss Kong playing Abba.... Ha Ha. Look out for me Tall Charming & Always got a smile on my face. & my Husband the one with the Big... Moustache.

Still the best venue in Glasgow to see a live band. Some great bands play the place - Would recommend - The Strangers, they had the place bouncing the last time they played.

Great bands ...not been dissapointed yet..pity about the fat blonde barmaid who made touch & go turn their music down..."oh its just uncomfortable"..it wasnt for the audience! its a live venue for gods sake... Pity the bar staff are such old fogeys...ruins an otherwise very good small gig venue.

This used two be the best hot spot for my age group with great gigs fab company and the price of drink was cheap and cheerfull. had many a good night would like to know were everyone has moved on too .bring back Ada. Itchcoo park, Kong, Independence. all off them had the place jumping !!!!! loved it.

Great pub, great traditional gig hotspot. Like wine and whisky this places just gets better with age - I love it!
