Based in the Borders town of Innerleithen, Robert Smail's Printing Works is a fully functional Victorian-era letterpress printing works that acts as a museum while still taking orders for printing and stationery. It holds printing workshops in the winter, and participates in events such as the Innerleithen Honey Festival.
A printing time-capsule featuring a completely restored Victorian printing works. Visitors can watch and experience for themselves the almost forgotten craft of hand typesetting. The buildings also contain the Victorian office with its acid-etched windows, the reconstructed waterwheel and many historic items.
