An important part of many cultural events that happen in the city throughout the year, the gardens that flank the southern side of Princes Street are a pleasant green space in the heart of the city. The Festival Fringe, Jazz Festival and Hogmanay celebrations all stage events in the gardens, usually incorporating the Ross Bandstand.
