Scotland's largest rural jazz and blues festival features more than 50 live performances, from open mic sessions to headline sessions in the Theatre Yurt and the afternoon Jazz Cruise on Loch Katrine. Highlights from 2011 included Russia's Pervoe Solnce, America's Kent Duchaine and Scotland's own Sound of Seventeen Big Band.

This festival, now in its third year, is highly recommended. The weekend rover ticket represents excellent value for money but there is a flexible range of tickets, depending on how much you are able to take in. The location in Callander, part of the appeal, is stunning and there is music to suit all tastes from the huge range on offer, coupled with a fantastic atmosphere.
