Volunteer once a month to help keep Brodick in top condition. Rangers will instruct you in practical conservation and gardening tasks. Bring waterproofs, warm clothes, a packed lunch and a drink; tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

An evening hunt for nocturnal creatures such as bats and barn owls, finishing off with a cosy fire in the Bronze Age roundhouse.

Roam the hillsides with NTS park rangers and maybe you'll glimpse the elusive white deer. This is an upland hike with steep ascents and rough terrain, not suitable for all ages.

How long could you survive in the wild? Find out at this survival skills workshop which focuses on food, warmth and shelter. Ages 8–12. Booking is essential.
