In its attractive cottage setting in cliff-top Auchmithie, the But 'n' Ben has been consistently good for years. Expect to find wonderful, fresh oysters and fish including a tasty Arbroath smokie pancake. Home cooking and properly honest fare predominate, with generous portions and a pudding trolley is always groaning with gateaux, cheesecakes and apple pie.
