This review is taken from the 2011 edition.
Perched above the old ferry waiting room on the pier overlooking Tobermory Bay, Lindsay McDonald and Liz McGougan cook up shellfish from the restaurant's own boat along with other fish and produce from the Isle of Mull.
Described as 'Seafood Nirvana' – Café Fish is upstairs in the white art deco building perched on the pier with panoramic views overlooking Tobermory Bay. Owners Jane McDonald and Liz McGougan cook up fish and shellfish landed that day from the restaurant's own boat. A small restaurant with loads of atmosphere and a fantastic menu (you'll also find the best steaks in town, chicken and innovative vegetarian options for non fish eaters).
Good Food Guide have just awarded them 'Fish Restaurant of the year 2012' – well worth a trip to Mull to see why.
