This review is taken from the current (2012) edition.
Inside this lively bohemian hangout the carnival atmosphere hits you. Brazilian flags and bold cultural murals set the scene while large screens ensure you don’t miss any footie action while supping a Brahma beer or caipirinha – Brazil’s national cocktail. Cocktail shakers double as percussion as the mixologists burst into impromptu samba dancing to thumping Latin beats. There’s a 60-seater diner to the back, a spacious bar for casual eats come dancing at the front and a handful of al fresco tables out front. Piping hot dishes with Mardi Gras colours heighten the senses with tasty tapas to kick things off – finger-licking chicken thighs, cute little pastry pockets stuffed with subtly spiced vegetables and succulent pan-fried tiger prawns smothered in roasted cherry tomatoes all satisfy. The star of the show is undoubtedly the slow-cooked sun-drenched sweet coconut and coriander moqueca stew, packed with market-fresh fish, langoustines and seafood. Home-made passion fruit mousse is devilishly creamy yet cleanses with a zing. With a traditional barbecue every Sunday, home-made burgers, pizzas, live music events, DJs and 3am licenses, there’s a lot going on.
- High point: Unique carnival atmosphere with happy attentive staff
- Low point: Tasteless farofa (cassava) needs spice

I recommended this place for a colleague's leaving night. Never have i been so embarrassed. The service was terrible. The waiter was not helpful and appeared to struggle with the basic task of taking our order. The starter I received was bland and chewy. Others at the table also complained theirs were equally as unpalatable.
The main course can only be compared to a scene from Fawlty Towers. The wrong meals came, the meals that did come were cold, bland and portions stingy at best. Some people did not get their meal at all and yet another person finally got her meal (2nd attempt) and it had a hair in it. The waiter rolled his eyes when alerted to this fact. The manageress appeared to be aggressive and irritated we were not satisfied. The excuse offered was because the place was busy (!)
Embarrassing - I kept waiting on Manuel to pop out. Don't go......

This place ranks amongst the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Service and food was uniformly dreadful, with a selection of drinks not ordered, drinks not received, food not ordered or received, cold food, bad food, food arriving after most of the party had finished and finally a hair in the food. Moreover, when we booked, we were quoted £12 each for three courses and coffee. When we arrived, we were given a menu at £8.95 for two courses, which was all we ordered. At the end of the meal, the manager said that, although the menu stated £8.95, it was actually £12.95 at the weekends (not displayed on the menu). The discount subsequently applied and complimentary liqueurs offered were unfortunately followed by the most passive agressive apology I've heard from the manager, who said she didn't think we'd had the worst service and that they were very busy. Avoid.

I've been there with my family and a friend for a Sunday lunch. The Brazilian tapas were all very well made (not large portions though). Anyway the 3 for 9 deal is good value for money, chance for everybody try a little of each. Good environment, nice décor.

Was really excited when I saw a poster advertising a new Brazillian restaurant in Glasgow!! After spending many happy years in Rio I could not wait to try the food and hopefully drinks of the vibrant wonderful country of my memories. I was not dissapointed the ambiance was buzzing ....staff really enthusiastic and food fantastic only thing missing was the sun and sand!!!
