The 2012 edition of The List's Eating & Drinking Guide is out now – only £5.95 (+p&p).
This review is taken from the 2010 edition.
Note: in January 2011 Naked deliveries were suspended while the operation moved to new kitchen premises. With a simple ethos of using the best local and seasonal ingredients to create great-tasting dishes, Naked Takeaway is building a fanbase in the capital. The whole operation is very stylish, from the neat, environmentally friendly packaging to their trendy website all about Naked and their suppliers. The varied menu is designed for sharing, with Dips and Nibbly Bits to start. Killer king prawns with sweet chilli dipping sauce are good, but the initial presentation lets them down. The mains are sizeable: Thai seared beef salad is a delicious authentic dish which combines local steak with a sweet salad, and Jamaican stew pork is an explosion of spices. Finish with their already famous to-die-for chocolate brownies.
- High point: Impressive food ideal for a dinner party
- Low point: Catering for a niche market
