The Curry LeafReport -
We ordered a takeaway from here last night and were very impressed. Although we are curry fans we'd never found anywhere in our area which really ticks all the boxes - there are plenty of decent curry places but none which had us so impressed that we'd choose it every time. However, we think that the Curry Leaf might be our new favourite.
The Chicken Tikka Masala was very rich, while the Jhinga Hara Masala was full of flavour and spice with perfectly cooked prawns - this was a nice surprise as at many places they often they turn out to be overcooked and rubbery. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the Pilau rice, which was quite heavily seasoned and had quite an unusual flavour which I wasn't used to. The naan breads were also very small, especially as they were priced at £2.25 each.
Some nice little touches like a great website, and neatly printed labels on each dish meaning that we didn't have to guess what was what, or try to decipher some illegible handwritten abbreviation on the lid.
Will definitely be back!
