a lovely family run inn on the outskirts of gattonside the red pepper soup was lovely and the goats cheese with fresh beetroot was a meal to savior , for main i had the Guinea fowl with haggis and crispy bacon (the nicest haggis i have ever tasted) all the flavor combined on the tongue fantastic and the portion sizes were just right the pastry cases were a delight and the veg's were brill and fresh , the dessert of home made ice cream ( made by a friend ) ginger bread and lemon curd had our curiosity aroused and had to try. got the fiance to order it , served in a brady snap basket it was fresh and not to overpowering a wierd combo but it worked wonders . if your ever wanting a lovely meal do not pass this gem well worth it would reccomened to any one , suprised no one has reviewed
