Crown Hotel

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!

We booked a room for the night with our 6 month year old, was given a room right above the pub bar! was not told this when booking the room was also not told about it being busy that night as the gala day, found this out by word of mouth on the day! we booked in.
That night could hear all the shouting and what sounded like karaoke, the noise was bad sounded like we were in the pub! but what was worse was they started banging on the ceiling down stairs which was our floor where our child was trying to sleep in his travel cot.
Being a parent as any parent would not be happy at this i complained to the owner which had to be phoned as they werent there. He was not caring about the situation and VERY RUDE! on the phone! said that he very doubted they were banging on the ceiling, which they were! asked us to find another hotel at 10pm at night with a 6 month year old!!! So i would not recommend this hotel as the owner does not care about his customers!
