This review is taken from the current (2011) edition.
Located in an unassuming shop front at the quiet end of Portobello High Street, Cinnamon is dominated by the spotless stainless-steel open kitchen where fresh ingredients are prepared to order as you watch and wait. As well as the usual selection of old favourite sauces, from creamy korma to steamy vindaloo, Cinnamon offers a full and unusual range of seafood, tandoori and vegetarian specials, long lists of varied starters, sides and breads, and some great-value biryanis and banquets. The food is a modern take on Indian and Bengali cuisine and home delivery is available. However, collection is recommended here as those waiting are kept entertained by the sights and smells from the 'floor show' in the open kitchen.

I give Cinnamon 5 stars- food is excellent, the rice and nan are included in the prices (which are very reasonable) and the people who work there are always polite and the guys that deliver, delightful. We've tried loads of takeaways over the years but don't bother looking any further than this place now- order there once a week (at least!)
