Funnily enough, the name says it all with this wee Bruntsfield takeaway. You'd have thought that anywhere audacious enough to call itself Good Food would offer anything but, but thankfully they're telling the truth on this one. The classic-format Chinese takeaway menu offers a plethora of Thai dishes, too, and everything is made fresh to order. Dishes often have a bit of an MSG whack, but the flavours and fresh ingredients sing clearly in their own right, so the food is aromatic, tasty, and has a reassuringly home-made feel. Aromatic crispy duck is everyone's favourite, and here it is served on the bone instead of as a tub of anonymous shredded meat. It is, of course, absolutely delicious, especially when overstuffed into a little pancake with plenty of hoi sin, a little cucumber and a lot of spring onion. Good food!

- Low point: Crispy beef rarely stays crispy in those aluminium tubs.
