Two-for-one burgers and pizzas all day every day are the main draw of this Finnieston bar-kitchen. Boxy and bright, Neighbourhood is not an immediately obvious choice for a low-key meal, though a side dining room offers a little more privacy. Cocktails, premium beers and multiple screens for live football – couches, fake grass and big teles on the pavement outside made this a hotspot for watching last summer’s World Cup – are all big draws for the drinker, though food is the establishment’s stock-in-trade, mostly thanks to those cheap eats. For lunch there’s discount soup and panini deals. A Tex-Mex strand running through the menu includes a nacho stack starter that’s big enough to share, and a main course of garlicky quesadillas – a thin tortilla sandwich filled with layers of chicken, chorizo and stringy melted cheese, served with sour cream and salsa. A refit of the open kitchen, due around the time of going to press, will see an upgrade from electricity to gas facilities and a subsequent rehaul of the menu.
- High point: Very snappy service
- Low point: Draughty in the separate dining room

I don't really understand where the other reviews are coming from - I've been twice and the service has been pretty good both times.
I'm a veggie and while there's maybe not a huge amount of choice on the menu for me that doesn't matter because they serve the best veggie burger in Glasgow and the chips are pretty good too! I've wasn't able to finish my food both times I was there so I don't think portion sizes are an issue at all. The other person I was with ordered the chicken burger and was very, very impressed with it as well. 2 burgers + 2 drinks for just over a tenner? Well worth your money.

We won't be back, its ghostly quiet, no customers, bad service and the ladies toilets were unclean. Food was ok but we dont dine out for ok food espsecially with those portion sizes. One to avoid.

I didn't not enjoy eating or being in this place.
I was assured that Finnieston was up and coming and by the look of the Crab shack, Lebowskis and the not yet open Monkey Business we were in for a treat.
A treat was not what we experienced. The man whole called himself the manager had this air of arrogance about him in a very shifty looking way. He served us but we didn't feel comfortable as he never smiled and never looked at us.
Anyway, we ordered pizzas which we assumed were hand made except they weren't. The pizza bases were like cardboard and the Tomato base was straight out of a jar. Even though i left 75% of my pizza, the manager couldn't have cared less as he didn't even ask me if everything was ok.
I voted with my feet and vowed never to be back and i'm now voting with my fingers.
Don't be put of Finnieston by this review; i shall be sticking to The Crab Shack for my fish and Lebowskis for my meat in the future.
