The 2011/12 edition of The List's Eating & Drinking Guide is out now – only £5.95 (+p&p).

While some establishments offer it as an extra service, Chimichanga’s pitches exclusively at the takeaway market. The smell of spices and a reassuring sizzle from the kitchen area confirm that everything is cooked to order. All the usual offerings are available, from starters that include nachos smothered in melted cheese that are worthy of a more formal setting, to mains that cover burritos, enchiladas and, of course, chimichangas. There are also more adventurous dishes such as Mexican meatballs, tuna steaks in a spicy sauce and an excellent chicken mole. And, with delivery available across a large part of the city, you can now crack open a Mexican beer, stick on a salsa CD and bring authentic flavours to your front room.
