Set in the 18th-century surroundings of the family-run Green Hotel in Kinross, Basil's restaurant has an engagingly contemporary feel, with elegant décor and a stylish menu to match. Food is modern European with Scottish undertones, drawing on local produce to create dishes such as oven-baked cod in a saffron mussel broth or loin of venison with dauphinoise potato and cranberry tea jus.
