Carrying on where Olé began in Shawlands, Tinto is the new operation from Gordon Craig (co-founder of Arigo Italian restaurant). It's open for breakfast, and, from noon, the menu features Spanish-style tapas such as a salt cod stew, tabla embutidos (a meat board including traditional hams) or morcilla (Iberian black pudding with caramelised onion and pine nuts). Plus, there is a specials board with dishes such as pan-fried pork cheek, grilled half lobster and steamed razor clams. Fish (and plenty of it) comes from the vaunted monger, the Fish People.
