Coming onto our radar screens just as this guide goes to press, Venezia is a stylish restaurant and bar in Broomielaw, featuring Italian as well as other European dishes. The main à la carte menu ranges from pastas to platters, such as a seafood version with tiger prawns, deep-fried calamari and fish kebab. In the early evening (5-8pm), the set-price options include an aubergine millefeuille, ravioli con carne or 'traditional fillet au poivre'. [Not recently visited.]
