An oasis of fine, healthy foods with a touch of style and Asian flavour in the heart of Cessnock. No doubt a magnet for local office workers (and hotel residents a hop across the river) who would otherwise have to travel a lot farther to find always-vegan soups, fresh sushi, sandwiches (such as kaffir lime and lemongrass chicken or chunky butternut squash and pesto) and tarts from Tapa bakehouse, who also provide the bread. There are even a few seats for lingering – and savouring – purposes. Like many takeaways which peak during lunch hours, freshness and energy dips towards closing-time.
- High point: Lots of quality food at decent prices
- Low point: Downhill from the lunchtime peak

This is one of the best small deli's in the city - with fantastic fresh home made sushi, noodles, spicy potato salad

There simply isn't anything quite like this place for miles around. Well worth seeking it out for the delights within. A fantastic aray of sandwiches completely removed from the "coronation chickens" and "prawn mayo's" of the world. The only problem you'll encounter in here is what NOT to have. Also look out for great soups, changed daily, amazing cakes and lovely coffee. A lunch time essential and no mistake.

Its a small shop, but they have shown what can be done with imagination, care and a lot of hard work. A really great place to have a coffee or to get some very special sandwiches or something for lunch. When there is a queue for sandwich takeaways at lunchtime, there is not a lot of room!
Long may this initiative last, and hopefully inspire some others...what is needed now is a really good wee restaurant in this part of Paisley Road West, and of course a sensible and straight pedestrian link between Cessnock Undergrtound Station and Pacific Quay, and the BBC and Science centre.... Something that was promised years ago...
