Situated on the main road carrying commuters out of the city to the east, Mr Hot Potato offers nutritious fast food that's also incredibly good value. For a mere handful of change, you can have a hefty, hot baked potato with any two fillings, and the selection of both hot and cold toppings is mouth watering. Just about everything is home-made by owner Rashid Ashraf, and includes chicken tikka massala, kashmiri, mushroom curry and spicy veg and spinach, the latter being not for the faint of tongue. Even less exotic options, such as coronation chicken, are freshly interpreted, with a mix of fruit and piquant spices in a gorgeously creamy sauce. There's also plenty of salad, pasta and cheese options, as well as soup, samosas, pakoras and baguettes.
