Having decided to abandon its role as a 'Bistro and International Tapas Bar' in the course of the past year, Shaw's Bar and Bistro is under new management and proudly states it still enjoys much of a Mediterranean influence. International, however, seems to be the predominant theme, with Tuscan chicken, beef stroganoff and fillet steak with haggis on offer. The incongruity certainly mirrors the presence of such a stylishly-interiored premises amidst the weathered bricks of the Old Town, albeit in one of the area's more impressive modern developments.
