The basic-looking premises here are at odds with the quality of the food produced. There is a pleasing and distinct lack of additives in the food, and even the spring rolls, which have a satisfying crunch to them, are made in-house. The beef dishes are particularly good, with the chow mein sporting deliciously thin noodles, just the right amount of sauce and generous cuts of meat. The sweet and sour chicken is tangy without being too sweet, and the seaweed manages to be both crisp and slightly chewy, the best of both worlds. Vegetarians won't find a huge amount of choice, but the portions are generous and dishes can be made gluten-free on request.
