The first hurdle to clear is that this is an American restaurant that doesn’t serve burgers. The best explanation of this is that it’s not an American restaurant but Californian. Calistoga has been around in Edinburgh since 2004 on St Leonards Street…

I love Calistoga, especially the St Leonards branch. Small, cosy, friendly and the food is just fabulous. Wine list is extensive and very much a highlight to the meal. I also love the desserts at Calistoga, some of the best I have ever eaten. Simply a brilliant place to go for a lovely evening out.
