Taking its name from the continental-style split-level courtyard outside, The Courtyard is an appealing Edinburgh restaurant in the developing dockside district of Leith. The interior is divided between a bright conservatory offering brasserie dishes and a beamed red-walled restaurant above with bags of Scottish flavour on the menu, including baked salmon fillet in oatmeal with a Lothian ale gravy and black pudding and beef sausages on a parsley and bacon mash.
