The noodle bowls, yakitori, gyoza dumplings, adzuki beans, katsu curry et al from the Japanese menu at this branch of the Wagamama multinational chain have lost little of their appeal since it opened in Glasgow's city centre in December 2003. Punters fill the fixed tables and benches in the brightly lit space, and it's always a treat to see how many minors seem to be getting a taste for Far Eastern foods. The kids are all right. A second Scottish branch opened in the new Silverburn shopping centre in March 2008 (joining Yo!Sushi and making this mall a most unlikely hot spot for Far Eastern cuisine). [Not recently visited]
