Formerly called Garlic, Eusebi Deli continues the tradition of a classic Italian delicatessen, updated with the contemporary cooking associated with today's modern fine food outlets. There is the stock in trade of various imported salami, hams and cheese (including fresh buffalo mozzarella) and they'll happily whip up a sandwich for you. From the selection of hot food to takeaway and reheat, expect everything from risotto to slow-roast pork, home-made minestrone soup to baked seabass – plus things for side dishes, whether mash or antipasti. The ready-meal containers cover the pasta territory completely. Having shone the beacon in Shettleston (about 1.5 miles from Dennistoun), a second branch is planned for the West End – Gibson Street at Park Road – in 2008.
