Glowing quotes about this Southside restaurant from The List are scattered throughout Barbarossa's official web site. Alas, during our reviewing period in 2008, the operation – which does rather regularly feature on our Hit List of Italian operations – was adding a new wine bar and the place was apparently under pretty serious renovation works. We expect that little has otherwise changed, however, when it comes to the warm welcome and the serious cooking skills at Barbarossa. [Not recently visited]
