Behind its striking deep green entrance, Wee Windaes is a spacious family-run Scottish restaurant in the traditional mould with views over the historic Royal Mile. The classic elegance of the dining room with its tartan chairs and well-spaced tables generates an atmosphere of genteel reserve, while the gutsy menu features well-known favourites such as Highland venison, Scottish salmon, cuts of Aberdeen Angus beef and haggis, neeps and tatties.
