Heard La piazza was under new management so i decided to go with my girlfriend to check it out. What an enjoyable experience! We started our meal with an antipasto to share. It came on a wooden board and the quality of the ingredients was almost as good as the ones i tasted in Sicily. For my main i took a fillet al porto which came with vegs and roasted tatties. Yum. My girldfriend had a pizza funghi, thin based, lots of cheese and mushroom. Great.
To finish we shared a cheese board. Real good too!
Have to say the waiter was attentive and nice too. If you never been, give it try it's worth it.

When for a dinner last week with my family. We started with the drinks, when the starters came it was very very little portions, not enough for even for our 6yr of daughter!
Main course Ridicules portion and highly priced and it was cold. When asked for the manager – he was very busy , no time for customer enquiries that was rude . The surprise was when we received the bill - even changed for a small piece of bread for the little 5 months baby!
Very poor service and food - extremely below standards and very unfriendly staff except one or two.
