The List's Eating & Drinking Guide 2008 is now in the shops. This review is taken from the 2007 edition.
As a fire gutted the kitchen here, we didn't get the opportunity to visit the Buttery for this edition of the guide. But owner Ian Fleming assures us that normal service resumes in summer 2007 at one of the most distinguished dining addresses in Glasgow. There will be two changes, however. First is the addition of a lunchtime lounge menu (in addition to the set-price selection) with lighter dishes. People can drop into the atmospheric lounge - nearly as nice as the dining room - and enjoy a glass of wine and bowl of mussels for example. Second, pre-theatre runs from 5.30-7pm. [Preview]
