This review is taken from the 2007 edition.
Glasgow's Theatre Royal dates to 1867, although the current building and wonderful interiors date to 1895. The small street-level brasserie, Café Royal, has a small raised area for pre-theatre dining, while the bar is the place to see a few of the show's stars after a performance. The concise menu means that the kitchen and staff can ensure that everyone is fed before the curtain is raised. [Not recently visited.]
