Discover the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art by night as the gallery comes alive with a live set from Churches plus the chance to see its latest blockbuster exhibition, Picasso and Modern British Art, after dark. Enjoy Spanish-themed cocktails in the cafe, learn some Spanish with Picasso courtesy of SALT Edinburgh, catch some art-inspired pop up poetry in the galleries or flex your grey matter with our curator talks to learn more about Picasso’s enduring relationship with Britain and its artists.

Churches

Churches are an electro band from Glasgow, formed in 2011 by Iain Cook (Aereogramme/The Unwinding Hours), Martin Doherty (The Twilight Sad) and Lauren Mayberry (Blue Sky Archives). Since launching themselves online via Neon Gold in May, the three-piece have been written about by a plethora of hip music blogs as well as The Guardian, NME and, of course, The List, with a single due for independent release later in the autumn. Check them out if you like Robyn, Fever Ray and anything to do with Vince Clarke / the 80s in general.
