The Edinburgh Mela is a vibrant, joyous riot of sounds, sights, colours and tastes, returning to Leith Links from 31 Aug - 2 Sep this year, and we have a weekend family pass to give away.
Challenge your senses with delicious food, family fun and some utterly amazing music, dance and theatre, all on one site.
This year there are four vibrant zones packed with new music: urban, bhangra, classical, world, funk, sarod and more. Dance fans can enjoy everything from contemporary dance through desi to pop-locking b-boys at the brand new Mela World Dance Feste, and there’s a whole programme of family fun at the Mela Kidzone. Don’t forget to sample the tastes of the world at the Global Food Village. It all kicks off with a free spectacular performance with fireworks on Friday 31 August.
