anCnoc Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has teamed up with internationally acclaimed illustrator Peter Arkle, to bring a modern twist to the traditional world of whisky in an exclusive range of limited edition designs.

Peter, who is based in New York, returned to his native Scotland last year to visit the Knockdhu Distillery, where he began to soak up the spirit of the brand. Following his visit he returned to New York and the city’s atmosphere and landscape are clearly evident in the urban and sometimes humorous series of illustrations which followed. The first anCnoc Peter Arkle Limited Edition depicts a bold and monochromatic image of each ingredient: malted barley, spring water, heat, yeast, time and ‘magic’. As well as a new design for anCnoc’s range, the liquid inside is equally special. Matured wholly in Spanish oak sherry barrels - a first for the brand - the resulting dram is complex and satisfying, rich in colour with amber highlights and a spicy fruit cake aroma combined with a creamy vanilla flavour.
