Win a meal for two at the Sheep Heid

The List has teamed up with the oldest pub in Edinburgh to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a meal for two people, following a restoration and the introduction of a mouth-watering new menu.

The Sheep Heid in Edinburgh was once a firm favourite amongst the literary crowd almost seven centuries ago, and has continued to be a firm favourite amongst locals looking for fresh, honest pub food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The tempting new menu includes an exciting array of traditional dishes with a modern twist including duck and chicken parfait with fig chutney and toasted brioche, slow-cooked pork belly glazed in maple syrup, and slow-roasted lamb shoulder with truffle mashed potatoes. If there’s still room, one of the tantalising desserts such as treacle and ginger tart is certain to hit the spot.

Sorry, this offer has now expired.
