Assembly sets the standard for theatre, comedy and entertainment on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, by providing excellent work in temporary theatre spaces in the magnificent Assembly Hall and Assembly Roxy, in George Square and its surrounding spaces. In 2012, Assembly’s 32nd year, the company will create for the Edinburgh Fringe a magnificent programme of around 130 shows in comedy, theatre, dance, cabaret and music drawn from over 20 countries and operate 14 venues and 6 bars.
Digital Marketing Assistant
This role will be part of the Marketing department and will update content on our website, prepare and send out e-shots before and during the festival, edit video/images/artwork for use on the website or on the web work as part of the team to improve Assembly’s digital presence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, CMS websites and an understanding of design and online aesthetics. Knowledge of Final Cut or other video editing software is also a major asset.
