Date Location
Every music fan knows a tune or two from Mozart's four or five greatest operas, but few realise that he actually wrote 22 of the things. Bastien und Bastienne was written when he was 12, and even then it was his third. It's an enjoyable piece of pastoral silliness featuring a boy and girl shepherd and a fake soothsayer, presented here by the Friends of the Music of St Giles' Cathedral and directed by Iain McLarty.
