Dr Jonathan Blackwood, Lecturer in the History and Theory of Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College, leads three short courses on the art of Eastern Europe. Session one will focus on 'Modernism in Eastern Europe before 1945', session two on 'The Warsaw Pact? Social Realism and Artist under Marxism-Leninism', and session three on 'The Contemporary Artist in Late Capitalist Eastern Europe'.
