Pittenweem Arts Festival

The Essence of Beauty: 500 Years of Italian Art

A major exhibition showing the stunning range, quality and development of Italian art from the 14th to the 19th centuries. The items have been drawn from the collections of all the Glasgow Museums. Featured artists are Titian, Bellini, Salvator Rosa and Botticelli and there are also outstanding examples of Italian sculpture, glassware and ceramics.

Work drawing on an archive the artist found in Mexico, consisting of more than 4000 photographs of the street life of Ciudad Juarez, a Mexican city with the highest murder rate in the world.
