The annual display of JMW Turner watercolours bequeathed by Henry Vaughan, from early topographical wash drawings to the atmospheric sketches of continental Europe in the 1830s and 1840s. At Vaughan's bequest, the delicate watercolours are only shown in January when daylight is weak to avoid fading.
