Emory Douglas: Seize the Time

Emory Douglas was Minister of Culture for the Black Panthers between 1967 and their dissolution in 1980. During that time he forged a unique and influential graphical style, designing the Panthers' newspaper The Black Panther as well as posters, cards, illustrations and cartoons. Expanding Horizons: Giovanni Battista Lusieri and the Panoramic Landscape

Lusieri (1754–1821) was considered by his contemporaries to be one of the most skilful landscape painters of his generation. In the first half of his career he worked in Rome, Naples and Sicily and after 1800 he worked in Greece, where he was involved in Lord Elgin's still-controversial removal to Britain of the marble frieze from the Parthenon in Athens.
