Kirriemuir Relay for Life
An overnight festival raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Teams of between 8 and 15 people run, jog or walk the track for between 12 and 24 hours. The Marie Curie Whole Hog
A six-mile adventure in aid of the charity involving cross-country racing, an army assault course, and a whole host of other demanding challenges, with a hog roast at the end to reward you.

Selkirk Common Riding
A tradition which can be traced back over 400 years, the Riding involves exchanging of flags, mass horse rides, and much ceremonial pomp and circumstance. In addition to the main ceremonies, there are sports, parades, dances and concerts taking place over the weekend.

Shotts Highland Games
