Shakespeare's story of jealousy, murder and the danger of ear-whisperers gets modernised and beamed live from the stage.

Celebrating International Women’s Day, 8 Mar, with almost three weeks of events, drama, discussions and workshops. The festival also launches the centerary celebrations of one of Dundee's notable daughters, Mary Lily Walker.

A celebration of emerging Scottish writing talent across all genres, inspired by the late great playwright Robert McLellan (1907-1985). Poet Simon Armitage presides over this year's programme of performances of writing by McLellan and new writing, especially in Scots.

Everyone is welcome at these open sessions for screenwriters, from the novice to the professional. Meetings start with an industry talk followed by a Q&A and a workshopping session on scripts brought along by participants. Ages 16+.

Shetland’s annual film festival curated by film critics Linda Ruth Williams and Mark Kermode features screenings, lectures and panel discussions involving national and international film industry professionals and film academics while still maintaining a commitment to local film makers of all ages.
