The Festival of Politics

The only festival of its kind to be hosted in a UK parliament, the Festival of Politics features famous names from politics, media and the arts in debates and cultural events. Most are free apart from a reservation fee, and all events are themed around a politically-inspired topic – last year's was the suitably zeitgeisty 'Renewing Politics in the age of New Media', and involved talks about the uses of Twitter on politics, and the ramifications of the internet for freedom of information. Festival of Spirituality and Peace
