The Palace's State Rooms play host to this year's Christmas fair, in aid of Cancer Research UK. There's plenty to browse, including a range of cards, gifts, decorations and food to get your Christmas shopping off to a good start.

New market with a tantalising selection of vintage, craft and design vendors – including clothes, jewellery, handmade, up-cycled furniture, accessories, homewares, food, cakes, millinery, stationery, art and lots more.

Bridlington's annual summer fair is going medieval this year, with competitions, games and amusements for the whole family, and of course food and drink. Come in costume if possible (full plate armour not recommended).

A fun fair, demonstrations and entertainment (including falconry and fire eaters!) celebrate the local culture and history of Caerphilly – which has a lot to do with cheese, you see.

Traditional county fair with activities for kids and adults alike, plus plenty of locally produced food and drink to accompany it.
