A ballet choreographed by the company's artistic director Christopher Moore, based on Lewis Carroll's novel and set to music by Tchaikovsky.

Matthew Bourne's ballet inspired by La Sylphide, first performed in 1994, returns for a new Scottish tour. We follow the misfortunes of James, a young Scotsman whose taste for the wilder side of life brings him into the company of a strange and beautiful gothic fairy.

The sixteen-strong company led by artistic director Cathy Marston, presents its latest work which draws upon the tale of the state-murdered Swiss woman Anna Goeldi, who was tried as a witch in the 1780s, and whose name was only cleared by the Swiss government, in 2008.

Students present a performance of Les Sylphides, a short classical ballet with lyrical and romantic dances set to music by Chopin.
