A large array of local and international burlesque entertainers are shipped to Edinburgh to do their sultry and cheeky thing. Performers include America's Moana Santana and Go-Go Gadget and Glasgow's own Cat Aclysmic and Vendetta Vain.

Matthew Bourne's ballet inspired by La Sylphide, first performed in 1994, returns for a new Scottish tour. We follow the misfortunes of James, a young Scotsman whose taste for the wilder side of life brings him into the company of a strange and beautiful gothic fairy.

The sixteen-strong company led by artistic director Cathy Marston, presents its latest work which draws upon the tale of the state-murdered Swiss woman Anna Goeldi, who was tried as a witch in the 1780s, and whose name was only cleared by the Swiss government, in 2008.

A scaled down version of the BBC's smash hit show, with Oxford-based dignitaries and celebrities donning their dancing shoes for a six week tuition period, culminating in this show where they demonstrate how well (or poorly) they got on. All in aid of Vale House.

Young people are given the opportunity to participate in a friendly environment, in solo and group dances in ballet, tap and modern, presided by a professional dance adjudicator.
