Natural Tweed

A cross country bike ride through the lesser known natural parts of the Tweed Valley in a route that takes in forest tracks, drove roads, well trodden hill paths and rarely used ancient passes. Rob Roy Challenge

Not for the faint hearted – teams take part in an action-packed day including a 16-mile walk (or run) from Drymen to Callander then a 39-mile cycle to Kenmore. A party and feast await the intrepid participants upon their finish. Teams should include four people and each team member is asked to raise a minimum of £350.

Sweet Protection Dual Slalom

The Hawaii Tweed event reimagined as a gigantic gravity slalom party, with a course featuring new tracks, new berms and features and tabletops sculpted by Richard Hamilton. There'll also be a kids' event, and of course a BBQ, because a party isn't a party without a BBQ.

The Peebles High School Mountain Bike Club head up this informal, non-competitive teenagers' ride out. Qualified local helpers are also on hand to guide participants through the local trails for two to three hours. Ages 12–18; parental consent required.

UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Fort William
